According to a recent poll by SurveyUSA, a top-rated pollster, 66% of likely Texas voters indicated they would like for Texas to withdraw from the union and “become an independent country.” This reported 66% was the highest of any state polled, and showed 63% support by voters who vote only in presidential elections. 60% of Texas voters who expressed an opinion wanted Texas to set a date for complete withdrawal from the union. And 70% of Texas Republicans who expressed an opinion agreed.
So keep showing those TEXIT signs! Personally, I’m not only in favor of TEXIT, but I’m in favor of Texas reclaiming its lost territories in New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Colorado. These were illegally given away without any referendum submitted to the Texas electorate. And everyone knows that if Texas were to secede and if Florida were to follow, an avalanche would ensue with the entire South, Mid-West, and West quickly following. One can only hope. –Sin City Milla
